Collection and processing of personal data of customers, suppliers, and other contractors
We would like to make you aware to the fact that we will collect and process the personal data you have shared with us, because we need to for the performance of a possible contract with you. This goes both for our (potential) customers and for parties from whom we procure goods and/or services.
If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we will use your personal data to prepare and send an offer, to be able to determine what specifications or preferences a certain product or service must meet, to be able to provide products or perform work for you, to be able to bill you, and to be able to communicate with you in an efficient and convenient manner about the performance aspects of the contract.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, we also need your personal data to be able to enter into and perform the contract. In the case of procurement, we need your personal data to be able to let you know what specifications or preferences a certain product or service must meet, to be able to send you a request for an offer or to place an order with you, to be able to pay your invoices, and to be able to communicate with you about other aspects of the contract in a convenient and efficient manner.
You are under no obligation to share your personal data with us. If you opt not to share any or all of your personal data, we may not be able to do the things described above.
Transfer to third parties
In relation to the performance of a possible contract with you, we may need to transfer your personal data to third parties that supply parts, materials, and products to us or that perform work on our behalf. We furthermore use external server space to store (parts of) our sales and procurement records, which include your personal data. For this reason, your personal data is transferred to our server space provider. We furthermore use Microsoft Office and the associated storage facilities for emails and other files. Given that we use a newsletter mailing service and a content management system for our website, your personal data is, finally, also submitted to the provider of this service.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are installed on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you visit our website. These text files are used to store information that the website will recognise on your next visit. Our website uses only analytics cookies. Analytics cookies enable us to see what pages are visited and track clicks on our website. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. The information that Google collects in this way is anonymised.
Direct Marketing
If you have given us consent for it, we will store the personal data you submitted and use it to keep you personally informed by email of our existing products and services and make offers. Every time we send you an advertising email, you have the option to let us know that you do not want to receive such emails. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email for that.
Personal data storage period
We store your personal data for an indefinite period because projects in our industry take a long time to complete or when the information may be relevant for a new project several years later. The data subject always has a right to submit a written request to limit data storage to a maximum period.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for access to your personal data. If you have grounds to do so, you can also ask us to add details to your personal data or to rectify your personal data. Aside from that, you have the right to have your personal data erased or to restrict the processing of your personal data. You can furthermore object to our collecting and processing of your personal data or lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. And finally, you can ask us to send you your personal data or transfer your personal data to a third party.
