ValkCavityVision 2.0 consists solely of unique components that match each other perfectly and are distinguished in their functionality, quality and ease of mounting thanks to our years of experience, in-house R&D and own factory. Together the components form an innovative and reliable screen system you can build on, now and in the future.
ValkCavityVision 2.0 | The most versatile cavity screen system
A cavity screen system that consists of two layers of screen with an intervening layer of air gives growers the best tool to maximise energy efficiency, crop protection and quality control. The result is a more sustainable business with a greater yield.
This effect is amplified by choosing a cavity screen installation with the best performance in terms of functionality and reliability and ease of use, like ValkCavityVision 2.0.
While ValkCavityVision 1.0 has both screens mounted on one screen profile, driven by one motor, the ValkCavityVision 2.0 has them mounted on two screen profiles, driven by two motors. This offers more opportunities for control, allowing growers to adjust the screens precisely to their specific conditions.
For example: Given an increasing need for heating after sunset, the lower screen is closed. Given a decreasing need for energy after sunrise, the lower screen is opened without there being an immediate influx of cold air, which minimises heat loss and heating costs.
In summary: ultimate climate control for even more yield!
✔ Lower energy costs ✔ Better climate control ✔ Higher yield
What makes the ValkCavityVision 2.0 unique?

With the ValkCavityVision 2.0 the screen of the upper screen installation is clipped to the truss with a ValkTrussClip, which ensures a very secure connection.
The double bent lip ensures that the atlas wire remains securely in the middle. As a result, it does not come into contact with any sharp edges and provides a double support for the atlas wires, greatly extending their lifespan.
Better clamping force. Highly compact: only 26 mm wide. Double, rounded 'lips' on the bottom prevent wear of the atlas wires.
-
The ValkWireGuide is available in various formats. With the ValkScreenProfile from ValkScreenVision, the plastic variant is used at both the top and bottom. In the case of the ValkScreenProfile from ValkClip and ValkPoly+ is the stainless steel variant is used at the top and the plastic variant at the bottom. This ValkWireGuide ensures that the profile and the atlas wires can move independently, so the installation is not under tension during expansion and contraction.
Compact format. Easy to secure above and below in the ValkScreenProfile with one hand. The plastic version prevents wear of the ValkScreenProfile. Prevents light loss through black stripes on the screen.
-
The ValkScreenClip comes in various versions and secures the screen cloth to the ValkScreenProfile.
With the ValkScreenProfile upper screen (ValkScreenVision), the screen is clamped in place in the profile’s cloth strip recess with the plastic ValkScreenClip (Image 1).
With the ValkScreenProfile upper screen (ValkClip), the screen is clamped in the profile with the stainless steel ValkScreenClip (Image 2).
With the ValkScreenProfile lower screen (ValkPoly+), the screen is clamped to the upper side of the profile with a stainless steel clip (Image 3).
Minimal package size for maximal light gain.
ValkScreenDrive: A suitable screen drive system for every Venlo greenhouse
You can choose from three different types of drive systems for the one that suits your greenhouse the best!
-
Type 1 | Push/pull
-
Type 2 | Pull wire
-
Type 3 | Semi-push/pull
Push/pull drive system
How does it work?
Works using a push/pull tube and rack.
The push/pull tube moves to either side on a rack to open and close the screen cloth.
Unique ValkScreenDrive Type 1 components (Push/pull)
-
The ValkDriveTube pulls and pushes the screen to open and close it.
Contiflo galvanised, prevents white rust. Suitable for heavy use (e.g. for a shade screen with open air vents) Available in two diameters: 27 and 32 mm. Available in standard lengths. Easy to affix to a rack and pinion from any supplier. Reduction coupling with flanged nut and flanged bolt connection.
-
The ValkTableClamp forms the ideal connection between the ValkDriveTube and the ValkScreenProfile. For the upper screen installation of the ValkCavityVision 2.0, this is mounted lower down with a ValkKliMax Extender.
For the lower screen installation, the ValkTableClamp is connected directly to the ValkScreenProfile.
Both drives can operate independently of each other and do not conflict.
Available in formats for 27 and 32 mm tubes. Especially strong binding due to hollow profile. Easy to mount securely with just one bolt. The Extender is available in various varieties
-
The ValkRollerBracket guides the ValkDriveTube.
Easy to mount. Available in both bolt and clamp variants. Patented plastic rollers used. Freedom of movement of the rollers easily compensates for the differences in expansion between steel truss and the aluminium screen profile.
-
The ValkRollerClamp links the ValkDriveTube and the ValkScreenProfile when unusual sizes of sections are used (non-standard sizes).
The ValkRollerClamp replaces the ValkTableClamp in those cases, to guarantee a perfectly closing screen even with this non-standard size.
Here, too, with the upper screen, the ValkRollerClamp is mounted lower down with the ValkExtender.
Compatible with a 27mm and a 32mm tube.
Pull wire drive system
How does it work?
Functions with stainless steel draw cable. This cable is wound around a steel drive shaft. A special cable tensioner ensures that the cable has the right tension for smooth functioning.
Unique ValkScreenDrive Type 2 components (Pull wire)
-
With the ValkCavityVision 2.0 screen system, for the upper screen installation, the ValkKliMax Stability is mounted lower down with the ValkKliMax Extender.
For the lower screen installation, the ValkKliMax of the ValkPoly+ screen system is used.
It is mounted directly to the screen profile. Both drive systems can operate independently of each other and do not conflict.
The ValkKliMax makes a screen system optimally manageable and effective: whether it concerns opening and closing of the screen or creating humidity gaps.
The ValkKliMax ensures a perfect seal in all situations, extremely even humidity gaps and the smallest possible screen package.
The most powerful of its kind with 6 or 9 kg of resistance. Aligns the screen profiles first for even humidity gaps or uniform removal of warmth. Guaranteed controlled forces on the greenhouse frame. Produces light gain with its compact construction. The ValkKliMax Stability is fitted with a stability shaft.
-
The ValkPulley supports the return wire of the pull wire drive (type 2), so that it cannot sag and the system will continue to run smoothly.
Can be fixed to truss sleeve (optional). Can be opened, meaning that it can also be fixed to the return wire later. Can be opened, making it easy to remove or replace.
-
The ValkReversingWheel ensures that the stainless steel draw cable is guided back at the gable end and at a section divider.
Quickly available, in both single or double varieties. Pre-mounted in lowered aluminium casing with plastic wheels. Double ball-bearing wheels for handling stronger forces. Easy to mount on standard profile sizes. Available in 100 mm and 130 mm, suitable for 3 mm cable Prevents contact with ValkKliMax given its narrow profile, without requiring an extension plate. Prevents wear of the screen by positioning the atlas wire across from the draw cable. Inverted version available (double wheel) as a solution for multiple screen installations.
-
The ValkDriveShaft is located in the middle of the screen section. The shaft winds up and unwinds the steel wire to open and close the screen.
The ValkDriveShaft is available in three formats:
x- reduced, o-reduced, smooth.X-reduced shaft: easy to connect with a bolt connection, with minimum play and without welding! O-reduced shaft: easier to connect together by welding than the smooth tube. Smooth tube: connect by welding.
-
The ValkWireTensioner is used in combination with the ValkWireSleeve. The Tensioner ensures that the stainless steel draw cables are at the right tension, so the ValkKliMax can function correctly. The Sleeve regulates the neat winding up and unwinding of the draw cable.
Suitable for mounting on the 2" drive shaft. The steel cable is secured to the inside of the Tensioner to prevent damage to the screen. Design guarantees immovable fixation and alignment on the ValkDriveShaft. Grooves on the ValkWireSleeve guide the draw cable. Holes on the ValkWireSleeve indicate when the correct number of windings has been reached.
-
The ValkBearingBracket takes care of guiding the ValkDriveShaft and can be mounted on the greenhouse structure in various ways.
Drastically simplified installation thanks to flap functionality. No more threading through, but laying of the ValkDriveShaft. Made from one single piece of aluminium to prevent warping. Prevents notching of the drive shaft. Optimised placement of the bearing(s) guarantees resistance to the forces of the ValkDriveShaft. Available with plastic sleeve bearing or with 8 ball bearings. Also available as a clamp version.
Semi-push/pull drive system
How does it work?
Works using the push/pull tube and steel pull wire.
Combines the benefits of a push/pull system with those of a pull wire system.
Unique ValkScreenDrive Type 3 components (Semi-push/pull)
